Not exactly an experiment, but useful. This JSFL script takes the current selection, converts it to a MovieClip symbol in the library, then wires the clip using a hidden Flash feature called “AutoButton” (for lack of a better term).
This type of button has no code, only lables in each of the frames. However, Flash automatically wires up the code for you.
This JSFL also creates a transparent background on the bottom-most layer to provide a hit area for the button (when creating “hyperlink” buttons).
